The solution that was offered to the client was a web dashboard that is designed to allow users to manage and store geospatial information, drone imagery, and geotagged media such as images, audio, and video.
The web dashboard that was developed for the client is a centralized platform that enables organizations to add and manage data about their projects, which represent different ecosystems. The platform was built with an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows for easy uploading, editing, and deletion of data, supporting drag-and-drop functionality for uploading geospatial information, drone imagery, and geotagged media, making it easier for users to manage their data. All data is stored in IPFS and AWS S3, providing a secure and decentralized storage solution.
Our developers constructed the platform's infrastructure, including a process for onboarding organizations and users through unique links and a design that followed the client's established guidelines and systems. The solution offered by our company successfully fulfilled the client's needs by providing a robust platform for efficient and secure management.
Implementantion
The implementation of the web dashboard was carried out using the RedwoodJS framework, which is a full-stack, open-source framework for building and deploying web applications.

In an effort to reduce costs associated with data storage, our team made the decision to limit the use of AWS S3 for storing data. Instead, we utilized a combination of AWS S3 and IPFS to store the various media files uploaded through the platform.
This allowed us to take advantage of the cost-effectiveness of IPFS while still maintaining a high level of reliability and accessibility through the use of AWS S3.
